50 years ago, people had understood the basics of semiconductor materials that could produce light, the first commercial diode produced in 1960. The core of light-emitting diodes is a wafer of P-type semiconductor and N-type semiconductor, which has a transitional layer between P-type semiconductor and N-type semiconductors, called the P-n junction. In the PN junction of some semiconductor materials, the injected minority carriers are combined with most carriers to release the excess energy in the form of light, thereby converting the electrical energy directly into light energy. PN Junction Plus reverse voltage, few carriers are difficult to inject, so do not glow. The diode is known as led by the use of the injected electro-luminescence principle. When it is in a positive working state (i.e. both ends coupled with positive voltage), the current from the LED anode to the cathode, semiconductor crystals emit from ultraviolet to infrared ray of different colors, the intensity of light and current related. High-light efficiency, low-light high-power led, has been widely used in street lamps, mining lamps, tunnel lights, spotlights, fluorescent lamps and many other areas of lighting, by the industry acclaim.
